Because of its tropical climate, you will also find an abundance of fresh mangoes, pineapples, and papayas.

The country holds the world’s largest reserves of Bauxite (the ore used to make aluminum), making it a vital player in global industry. For those who love the water, the Îles de Los are a beautiful group of islands just off the coast of Conakry, offering white sandy beaches and a peaceful escape from the city. Guinea is also famous for its traditional music, particularly the hauntingly beautiful sounds of the Kora and the rhythmic beats of the Djembe drum, which originated in this region.
